I’ll never forget getting her in Nov 2014 from a soldier at Ft. Knox who was headed overseas and his wife was due anytime with their third child. I was going to foster “Destiny” at the time and when I met them she jumped in the car with Indy and acted like she belonged. Three days later he reached out about me just keeping her if she was doing well and I remember telling him she was running around in the back yard and he said that they only had a patio for her so she was where she needed to be. And that was it …🥰 And after a week, I was playing with her and said she was dainty as as Daisy and she came right over and sat on my feet . I laughed and said do you like the name Daisy Mae and she started doing zoomies with Indy. 🥰 And that’s how she got her new name.

Animals come into each of our lives for a reason and this sweet girl needed me like I needed her. The best girl, always listened, never chewed on anything and loved every one she ever met!

My heart will always hold a special place for her. So today, I just held her as she took her last breath, Khaleesi stayed right there by her side and licked her nose just giving her the sweetest kisses and her daddy kissed her with her last heart beat. we told her to chase the squirrels in Heaven and we would see her again. 💕 So I hope she felt all the love as she left this world and was met on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge by Charli, Jasmine and Grizzly and she was running again like she did years ago. ❤️
